MY CHILDREN ARE HAPPY & CONTENT IN CARE

When I started back to work I was concerned that my children would have a day that filled with peace and contentment. I found that in Bill & Gloria Milyard. Their childcare is wonderfully designed with children in mind. The center is so clean, smoke free, never any issues with cursing or children being abuses. In the activity room there is only one chair for adults, I found out after weeks in care with the Milyards they play on the floor right along with my children, there was not need for additional chairs. You are asked to remove your shoes and coats at the front door, to wash your hands before entering the activity room; I so appreciate their keeping our children as germ free as possible also. Their food is wonderful, I have wished I was eating with my children many days since the Milyard's grew up with an Amish heritage it is reflected in their cooking. Their play is old fashioned play, they do not have an activity room filled with talking toys; they make their own words. In the summer they have their own garden the children help plant and pick vegetables along with fruits. They also have their own chickens and their own eggs; wholesome food for certain.
There is a television in the activity room and the only thing we have seen it used for is to play WII. I asked one time why they do not allow children to watch television, there reply was this, "How many strangers do you allow in your home to play with your children unsupervised." This made my husband an me rethink what our children watch on television now. All year round they take the children swimming at the YMCA which is such a wonderful activity. We feel safe in our children's swimming at the YMCA since there is Life guards staffed and Miss Gloria used to be a life guard. We can't say enough positive things about this wonderful daycare. On sunny days the children go to the Park, and on rainy days they go to an indoor play yard. This is the most wonderful center we have ever found and most reasonably priced with the hours we need childcare. Check them out you will be pleasantly surprised.

WHERE CHILDREN ARE SAFE & LOVED

I have known Gloria Milyard for at least 10 years. We have worked together, laughed together , cried together and worshiped together.

Gloria loves children and decided a few years ago to dedicate her skills and life to making little peoples lives better. She has had foster training and medical training and real life skills with her two grown sons.

I have been to her home when she is caring for children. It has always been orderly, and clean. When you enter the home you are asked to leave your shoes at the door and to please wash you hands . This policy is adopted and respected by parents and friends.

I have been with Gloria and some of her children on various outings. She has always been attentive to the child's needs along with a gentle guidance.

My children are all grown. If I had small children and needed a day care provider I would certainly ask if she had space for my children. I know that their daily and spiritual needs would be met with love and kindness.

COMPLETE, COMPETENT CHILD CARE

At Kids under Construction with Miss Gloria and Mr. Bill I knew my child was safe, well cared for, loved, and stimulated in every direction. The home is clean and I never had to worry about my child while in care.
