It can be difficult to leave your infant in the care of someone else and be confident that she'll get the same care and stimulation you would give her.
Early Childhood care givers and programs are expected to be the primary resources as children experience different and sometimes conflicting cultural contexts. As early childhood educators we can play a paramount role as young children move through fluid identities and start recognizing and navigating within and across spaces of cultural differences, between home cultures and the socially dominant daycare culture. Kids under Construction will put your mind at ease.
We'll take care of her daily needs, the same way you do. We'll also stimulate your baby's cognitive, emotional and physical development. Our specially trained infant teachers build a bond of trust with your baby and with you, and provide a warm, loving environment where she'll build confidence in herself and develop positive and trusting relationships. Your toddler is asserting their independence in new ways every day. It's exciting, rewarding and challenging to watch. We recognize that children at this age may be at very different stages of development. Some may have just started walking, while others are already exploring the many other facets of their emerging development.
Active & Curious: Our Two's Day Care Program
Watching a two-year-old can be fun and exhausting. Children in this age group are filled with energy and curiosity about the world and a new sense of increasing independence.
Two's are highly active and interested in objects and people. They're undergoing rapid development in many areas, and eager for attention to help them learn and understand basic things about how the world works.
Kids under Construction’s unique Two's Curriculum is designed to support and reinforce the independence your two-year-old exhibits. Our Early Years programming provides the structure and guidance they need throughout their day as they learns to share, get along with others and perform tasks that require a longer attention span.
Listening to stories, singing songs, playing games and doing art projects help develop language and vocabulary skills, as well as movement and sensory motor skills. The Two's program focuses on developing these skills and readying your child for her next step.
The Journey Begins: Our Early Preschool
Between two and three years of age, depending on the time of year (for children three years away from attending kindergarten).
The long-term goal of our Early Preschool Program is to prepare your child as she begins the journey that will eventually lead her into kindergarten and beyond as a successful lifelong learner. In the short term, we focus on preparing your child for the next level of curriculum at Kids under Construction, which is our Preschool Program. Throughout the three-year preschool curriculum, which encompasses Early Preschool, Preschool and then Pre-Kindergarten, your child will acquire a full breadth of developmental skills necessary to successfully enter kindergarten eager and ready to learn.
